Tonys Pizza in Calabash

We ordered 2 baby pizzas. On one the bacon was no good, gross, and had to be picked off to make the pizza edible. To be fair, the waitress did offer to have the pizza remade, but being hungry we opted to discet the pizza and eat. When we paid the check and tried to bring it to the owners attention, he became offended, and rude saying, in the end, "it is what it is." Well, due to the poor customer service from the owner, we will never return to this restaurant again, and will recommend our friends and family go elsewhere.

Tonys pizza is the absolute best pizza in Calabash, NC. Tony's has never let us eat in, carry, no matter what is absolutely delicious.

Go there every trip to NMB and is THE best pizza ever! Awesome staff, too!

Hands down the best pizza we've had so far in the Calabash/Little River area! We had the meat lover pizza and a pepperoni calzone and both were delicious. The sauce had just the right amount of sweetness to it and the crust was crispy but soft. Order was ready in 15 minutes on a Friday night... Will definitely be back!

Great pizzas, we ordered a pepperoni, a meat, and a Greek pizza in small; since their sizes were "baby, small, large". When first seen the box I will be honest, was a little concerned of the size of the small; to our it turned out to be PERFECT! Each pizza was phenomenal to say the least, LOVE the pizza dough they use. Will be eating some more of Tony's pies! 🍕🍕🍕

We are on vacation and were looking for a great pizza place. THIS IS IT! When you see long lines, you know the food is great! We had the BEST pizza ever! Don't go anywhere else, don't call on other franchised places! This place has GREAT prices, the BEST pizza we have ever had anywhere! We also overheard the staff speaking Italian! YES!

Speaking as a local, Tony's is one of the best places around for pizza. They've recently remodeled (I think while they were closed for winter) and I feel the changes were very well thought out. If you're visiting the area, Tony's is a great stop.

I got a large meatball sub and it was amazing the sauce tastes homemade and the bread was great.

This was my first visit, but definitely not my last. I had the opportunity to chat with the owner, who was very pleasant. He opened up in 1981! Sophia took care of us and she was great! The pizza was perfect! Thanks for the memories!

Today I ordered 20 wings, 2 large pizzas, I wanted the wings well done Xtra BC and ranch. The wings were delicious, very well done, and plenty of dipping sauce. Pizza was okay but I think next time I'll do light cheese. Overall 5 stars.. I'll be back

We drove from Myrtle Beach up here to eat at Tony's Pizza and it was the best pizza I have ever eaten!

I've been a fan of Tony's since I was a little kid! Their pizzas have a unique taste that I LOVE. The employees were so kind and welcoming during this scary time with the virus going around and made sure the restaurant was a safe place to visit. They even brought the food to my car! There isn't better pizza in the area, I promise! We've been eating here for more than a decade! This is an excellent local business to support right now. It will taste beyond your expectations, and so will their wonderful service.

Amazing pizza! We got 2 large pizzas. Margherita and a Supreme and it was incredible PLUS we had three slices to take home. Our family will definitely make Tony's Pizza a priority every time we come to Ocean Isle Beach.

Great pizza with generous toppings. Service was positive and the pizza arrived promptly. The dining room was very hot however. The thermostat was set below 70 degrees, but the room was 85. It was MUCH warmer outside, and because the door was constantly open since they were so busy it never cooled down. Great place to eat, see you next year!

Work in the area and decided to try it out, big mistake. Waitress was really nice and helpful. I ordered the lunch special lasagna. The food took so long to come out I had to change my order to go. Then when the food came out the toast was burnt and the serving of the lasagna was the size of a golf ball. The lasagna consisted of 90% cheese 5% noodle and 5% sauce. I am very disappointed in the food quality. I never do review but this was so bad I had to. Can't believe I paid money for that.

Tony’s Pizza is the most authentic NY Pizza in the area. Absolutely fantastic! The restaurant is quaint and intimate. The staff are wonderful! Great place for take out and to sit in. Enjoy!

Had the Chicken, Broccoli and Ricotta pizza with white sauce. Was VERY good. Great sauce and the dough was nice and crispy. You can tell they take pride in their product and their craft!

Great pizza, but holy moly does it get busy. Even during off-peak seasons, the dining room is bursting at the seams. Expect a wait of 20-30 minutes for takeout, but everything is well organized and seems to run like a well-oiled machine.

Eggplant parm and chicken parm were delicious. We will be back despite the fact that servers had on dirty masks and never changed their gloves. I would have rather they didn't wear the mask or gloves and just wash their hands like normal people.

Greatest pizza in North Carolina by far.Staff is incredible and the owner should be very proud of this business, me and my grandpa think it’s the best pizza anywhere.

We love Tony's pizza! We visit every time were in town! The house special and some ranch to dip the crust in is where it's at! The salads are full and a delicious starter! Everything we've tried get 5 stars! (Calzone, stromboli, baby pizzas for the kids) Atmosphere is family friendly, enjoy a few beers if you'd like! Servers are super friendly.

Absolutely our favorite pizza in the area. We have only eaten calzones and pizza but have never been disappointed in the service or quality.

I’m a local and eat here all the time but, I haven’t had it in a few weeks so I went in yesterday and ate. It was amazing, I got wings and pepperoni pizza it was to die for. Sooo good I want it today lol I will try to wait another day or two though! Lol highly recommend this place!!!!!

We have always loved Tony’s Pizza in a Calabash we Drive from Little River as it was always fantastic but I don’t know what you did today to our large cheese pizza it was so salty and since we ate a couple pieces and then had to throw the rest away my wife and I have been throwing up all afternoon not good. We have been loyal customers of yours for over 4 years but sorry that ended today Saturday May 9, 2020. Mark and Shirley Fanus

We love the pizza, and drive all the way from Shallotte to get it carryout and bring it back (25 min. each way). The House Special is the favorite - It is a little light on sauce (which I prefer), but heavy on quality toppings and they put the cheese on top to hold it all together.

My family and I ordered ahead, staff wore masks as they brought our food out. The pizza was fantastic. We have dined here in the past and are never disappointed.

Pizza was one best I've had in over a year. Greek salad with house dressing was very good. Cheese bread with marana sauce was good. Service was great. Highly recommended. Enjoy your meal.

My family and I went for the first time last night and I must say, this is honestly the best pizza I've had in a very long time. Tony's has very good cooks who know how to properly bake a pizza with the right consistency and with proper flavor. The cheese and sauce is so flavorful! I am so glad we tried you guys! We will certainly be back! Also, our waitress, Sophia was very attentive and made our experience awesome. Very personable too! Great job team!

Very good NY style pizza. Good sauce, cheese and add on items. Only the crust was a bit soft.

The pizza was just excellent. Their version of "the works" was delicious. Their onion rings were also excellent. The waitress was sweet, but when she told me we could have any dip we wanted for the onion rings, I asked what dips they had. She seemed confused by the question. I asked what dipping sauces they had. She said whatever you want. "I want you tell me what my options are." When that again failed to get an answer, I gave up and she brought us a thin ranch style dip that was great. The staff was kind, but not as attentive as one might wish. The location is pretty old, but is clean and seems well maintained.

Great ingredients make great food and they have always had both. For 15 years I've enjoyed meals here.
